v3.0 June 5 2009
1. Listing on hypertrails
hypertrails.com lists travel companies who provide travel services to UK and Ireland consumers. The decision as to whether to list a Company or not (and how to list that Company) is entirely at ABTECH's discretion. Basic initial listing is free of charge, but ABTECH reserves the right to require Companies to enter into a Partner Agreement once the level of Click Throughs (that is visitors delivered by hypertrails to the company's web site[s]) exceeds a given level (the Threshold Level). Companies with a listing but no Partner Agreement are referred to as Participants.
2. Partner Agreements
A Partner Agreement is designed to bring some balance to the relationship between the Company and hypertrails and to reward hypertrails for the sales leads it is producing for the Company. The Standard Partner Agreement incentivises hypertrails to produce more Click Throughs for the Company.
3. Listing multiple web sites
Companies may list multiple web sites or microsites provided that they are not duplicate entry points to the same content and provided the keywords listed against the sites are not duplicated. ABTECH reserves the right to restrict the number of web sites listed for a Participant.
4. Threshold Level
Companies that have not reached the Threshold Level (and indeed Companies newly listing on hypertrails) may request a Partner Agreement with hypertrails in order to build Click Through levels more quickly. The Standard Partner Agreement is available on request.
5. Partner Support
hypertrails works proactively with Partner Companies to build Click Through levels in a number of ways: by advising on and optimising keywords and straplines; by listing travel offers; by republishing email newsletters/ flyers; by carrying branded advertising (banners); by listing deeplinks. hypertrails may also carry out targetted joint online marketing campaigns with Partner Companies.
6. Downgrading/ removing listings
Downgrading or removing Participant listings is seen as a last resort by ABTECH. However the consumer utility of the listings has to be balanced against the need to monetise the site to enable further development, so in the event of continued unwillingness of an over-Threshold Company to support hypertrails via a Partner Agreement, downgrading or removal will take place.
